"Where is my home now?"
-A Homeless Pygmy
Over the years, PIPES International has done a tremendous job of resettling Pygmy families who are evicted from forests by Congolese government. We hope to settle many more families that are homeless and displaced in the war torn country.
With your support we can reach out to the indigenous Bambuti pygmies who after their forced eviction from the forest have lost everything and we can help them rebuild their lives. We have resettled over twenty families in Idjwi Island (DRC). The families grow their own crops and feed their families. We hope to resettle many more families in the Idjwi Island as well as build a permanent school the Island.
